Race Results

The 5K Race (3.1 miles)

With prize money for the top 10 competitors and awards for the top 4 finishers of each age group, the race provides a unique experience for beginners and elite athletes alike. Join us for the 20th annual summer kickoff!

The first 2000 participants receive a race T-shirt to commemorate their achievement. (sizes are first-come, first-serve)

The 5K Fun Walk (3.1 miles)

Join in the fun for this non-competitive event!

The 5K Fun Walk will start along with the 5K Race, with walkers starting just behind the runners. Participants receive a race T-shirt. (limited to the first 2000 race/walk participants sizes not guaranteed)

Wheelchair participants are welcome. Push stroller and wagons are welcome. All walkers must be registered and have a race number to participate in this event.

Directions to the starting line:

From US-131, exit at 68th Street.
Take 68th Street East 1/2 mile
to South Christian High School to park.
Starting line is across from the Middle School.


Note: all outlying streets close at 8:00am.


This course is not just a tour of the friendly Cutlerville neighborhood, it's competitive and fast! This USAT&F-approved couse loops through the Pine Rest Campus, down the Cutlerville Days parade route on 68th Street, finishing where it starts. Downloadable course map.

NOTES: No dogs, bikes, skateboards, roller blades, or scooters allowed on the course.
All runners must be registered to participate. ChampionChip-timed start & finish line results are compiled by Classic Race Management.

whose mission is: through Christ's love, renewing the human spirit and building a stronger community by ending the cycle of domestic abuse.

A Good Thing to Run For

A portion of the proceeds of the Diemer Run are donated to the Guiding Light Mission. The Guiding Light Mission is a Christian ministry serving the homeless in the Heartside area of Grand Rapids by providing a safe and secure environment along with a spiritual recovery program.
